Delete Files on an Ipod Touch

Delete Files on an Ipod Touch - Connect your iPod Touch to your computer by plugging your sync cable into both your iPod and your computer's USB port. Note: You must connect the iPod to the computer you have your media files on as well as iTunes.

Open iTunes. You should see a small iPod icon on the left pane of the program. Click on this icon to display its media contents.
Select the media file you wish to delete by left clicking on it to highlight it. Then right click it to bring up a sub-menu. Select "delete" from this sub-menu to remove it from the iPod. You can also select "delete" from the edit menu to remove the song from the iPod

Although there may be plenty of room on your iPod touch, there may come a day when you find that you just don't listen to Madonna's smash hit "Holiday" from 1983 as much as you originally thought you would when you put it on the iPod. However, getting rid of this file (as well as any other potentially embarrassing video or audio files) is very easy.
