Put Games on a First Generation iPod Nano



Put Games on a First Generation iPod Nano - Connect your first generation iPod Nano to your computer using the iPod USB linking cable.

Open iTunes.
Click on the "iTunes Store" link in the left column of iTunes' main program window.

Click on the arrow to the right of the "App Store" button and then click on the menu listing for "iPod Click-Wheel Games." This will bring up a listing of all of the games that are compatible with your first generation iPod Nano device. Click on the name of a game that you'd like to download, and then click on the "Buy Game" button to download them. The price of a game will be listed next to the "Buy Game" button.



Click on the name of your iPod Nano on screen. Click on the "Games" tab. Check the box next to "Sync Games." Click on the "Sync" button. This will put the games you've downloaded onto your first generation iPod Nano.

Though the first generation iPod Nano cannot use any of the hundreds of thousands of applications currently available in the iTunes App Store, it can play all of the games available in the store that are designed to be used with an iPod with a click-wheel. To put these games onto your first generation iPod Nano device, all you need to do is purchase a compatible game from the store and then sync your iPod Nano to your computer.
