Remove Other Files From an iPod

Remove Other Files From an iPod - Turn on your iPod and use the connection cable to connect the device to your computer.

Open iTunes.
Wait for the iPod to be detected by your computer. After a few seconds, your iPod should appear on the left-hand side of the iTunes window. It will be listed under "Devices."

Select your iPod's icon under "Devices." This will display your iPod's files, separated by tabs such as "Music" and "Videos."

Locate the tab that lists the content type you want to delete. Scroll through the window and select the files that you want to remove from the iPod.

When it comes to media playback, the Apple iPod can play back anything from music or songs to pictures and video. However, like any device, the iPod can eventually run out of room because of the iPod's internal storage limitations. If you want to remove files from your iPod, though, you simply have to use your computer.
