Look for the battery indication. If the iPod is still charging, you'll usually find the indicator in the center of the screen. If not, then you'll find it in the upper-right corner of the iPod screen.
Read the indicator. The iPod battery indicator usually fills in the indicator as it charges. A completely transparent indicator means the battery is empty. If 25 percent of the indicator is a different color, the iPod is 25 percent charged, and so forth. When the indicator is entirely opaque, that means the iPod is fully charged.
Apple's iPod is one of the most popular media players available to customers. When paired up with Apple's iTunes program, it can play many different music files, as well as photos and videos. However, before you can actually use your iPod player, you will need to charge the battery. Fortunately, Apple includes a method on your iPod to check when the battery is finished charging, so you can start using it.
