Transfer a Music Library in iTunes From One iPod to Another iPod - Connect the first iPod to your computer. The iTunes program should automatically start.

Click the "File" button. Click "Transfer Purchases from iPod." The iTunes program will copy all of the music on your iPod into your iTunes library.
Disconnect the first iPod from your computer, then connect your second iPod.

Click your iPod's name, found under the "Device" heading.



Click "Music" in the main window.

Apple developed the iTunes program as a way for you to manager your music and video files. You can also use the iTunes program to put music on your iPod. If you want to transfer your music library from one iPod to another iPod, you can use iTunes to complete the process. First, you must transfer all of your music into iTunes, then transfer it to the second iPod. To transfer the music, both of the iPods will need to be linked to the same iTunes account.
