Fix a Disabled Apple 8 GB iPod Touch

Fix a Disabled Apple 8 GB iPod Touch - Plug your USB cable into your computer.

Power off your iPhone by either holding the Power button at the top of the phone and sliding the red dropdown arrow to the right, or by holding the Power and Home buttons simultaneously until the screen blacks out.
While holding the Home button, plug your USB cable into the iPhone.

Continue pressing the Home button. The words "Connect to iTunes" should appear on the screen. Open iTunes.

You may see a notification appear informing you that the iPod needs to be restored. Select "Restore" from the middle of the screen.

The iPod Touch allows users to create a passcode to prevent intruders from accessing information stored on the device. After a specified number of failed passcode attempts, the device will become disabled, preventing any form of access without restoring the device to its factory settings, and wiping the information contained within. Should an iPod become disabled, the only way to use it again is to completely wipe its memory.
