Fix iPod Scratches - Place the soft cloth on a table. Place the iPod on the soft cloth with the scratch facing up.

Pour some of the metal polish into the glass dish. Dip the end of the microfiber cloth into the metal polish. Hold the microfiber cloth over the glass dish until there is no dripping.
Place the part of the microfiber cloth that has the metal polish against the scratch on the iPod. Rub the microfiber cloth against the scratch with a firm and irregular swirling motion. Stop rubbing the microfiber cloth against the scratch after five minutes has passed.

Remove the microfiber cloth from the iPod and inspect the iPod to see if the scratch has been polished off. If not, dip the microfiber cloth in the metal polish in the glass dish and reapply it to the scratch. Rub the microfiber cloth against the scratch for another five minutes in the same way as was done before.

Wipe off the excess metal polish from the iPod using a clean microfiber cloth.
