Reset iPod Codes



Reset iPod Codes - Select "Extras," located in your iPod's main menu.

Open the "Screen Lock" option from the "Extras" menu.
Reset your iPod code by selecting "Reset Combination" from the "Screen Lock" options menu. The code will go back to its default setting of "0000."





For security purposes, Apple included screen lock for all models of its iPod personal media player. The feature essentially password protects the screen, preventing unauthorized users from opening the device. There may come a time when you wish to cancel your code by resetting it. This process requires just a few turns of the click-wheel. Afterward, the iPod's screen code is reset to "0000."
