Choose the Wi-Fi setting and turn it on. You may need to wait a moment while the device locates available networks.
Select the wireless network you want to connect to. You may have more than one option based on your location. If you are prompted for a password, enter it and touch "Join."
Opt to have your iPod alert you when there is a new network you can join. This can be useful if you are no longer in range of a network you have previously used. To receive these messages, turn on the "Ask to Join Networks" feature.
