Delete Songs on the iPod Classic



Delete Songs on the iPod Classic - Connect your iPod to your computer via the USB (Universal Serial Bus) port and open iTunes.

Select "iPod" from the "Devices" list on the left side of the iTunes window.
Click the "Summary" tab and then select "Manually manage music and videos." Click "Apply" to confirm.

Click the triangle to the left of the iPod icon in the "Devices" section on the left side of the iTunes window. The contents of your iPod will appear in the library window of iTunes.



Scroll through the list of songs and highlight the items you wish to delete by clicking on them.

iPods are capable of storing mass amounts of music and media. However, there may still be times when you wish to get rid of unwanted songs. It might be because you're no longer interested in them, or it could be that you want to clear space on the device for new music libraries.
