The iPod A1136 is the fifth generation iPod from Apple that uses a click wheel to scroll through your device's media library, and may occasionally lock up when you attempt to play a song or display a photo. This error error occurs when the hard disk is unable to access the information and stalls while opening a file. A reset of the device usually corrects the problem, as it clears the device's memory and any errors. Check your iPod's buttons to determine if the cause is due to a hardware error before resetting the device, as the problem may be due to the iPod's hold switch.
