Plug the iPod USB cable into the computer, plug the other end into the iPod, and wait a moment for the computer to recognize the iPod (iTunes will launch automatically if it is not already running).
Select the iPod under "Devices" (it will be listed under the name you originally gave the device). That option can be found on the left-hand side of the iTunes menu.
Select "Do Not Sync" when iTunes states it has detected the new device. If you don't select "Do Not Sync," all the information will be removed from the iPod and replaced with the iTunes files on the different computer (if the software was just downloaded, that would be no files). However, if that is what you want, feel free to proceed. Either way the iPod will now be connected to the different computer.
The Apple iPod is the most popular model of MP3 player. Songs are added to iPods via computer. The computer keeps track of all the songs, so in case the iPod crashes, the computer could easily back up the player and reload the songs to the iPod. It is even possible to connect an iPod to different computers.
