Connect an Apple Dock to a TV - Turn down the volume on your Apple iPod. You can do this by turning the wheel in a counterclockwise direction. Make sure the iPod is on before attempting to adjust the volume.

Open the "Settings" option on your iPod and then select the "TV Signal" option. Make sure there's a check mark next to the word "PAL." This will make your iPod compatible with your TV.
Turn off your iPod and TV.

Connect the AV cable to both the dock and to your TV. You can purchase the component AV Cable or composite AV cable from either Apple or at an electronics store that sells Apple iPod accessories.

Turn on your iPod and then your TV. What's on the iPod screen should be appearing on your TV screen. Scroll through the iPod to view pictures, videos or movies.
