Using iTunes to add music to an iPod can be frustrating at times, especially if you have previously used Windows Media Player with a different mp3 player in the past. You don't have to be stuck using iTunes with your iPod. You can download and install a special add-on which will make your iPod compatible with Windows Media Player. After you finish the installation, Windows Media Player will read your iPod as it would any other portable media device.
