Click the "Free" button next to "Pandora Radio" under "iPhone Apps" to download the app. The iPod touch uses the same apps as the iPhone. Enter your Apple ID and password. Click "Create New Account" if you do not already have an account, and follow the prompts.
Plug your iPod into your computer to sync the device if you did not download the app directly onto it.
Touch the app to open it. Log in to your Pandora account if you already have one. The app will sync with the stations you have previously created online. Otherwise, type in a song, artist, genre or composer to create a station. Click the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons to rate a song. Tap the album cover to show the progress bar, create a new station with the current song or artist, and email the station to a friend.
The iPod touch uses an application-based multi-touch interface to give users many more features than the traditional iPod classic. Instead of simply playing music, videos and games, you can also use your device to video chat, keep track of your schedules, write notes, check the weather, read the news or interpret the stock market. In addition to these standard features, you can also download other programs, or "apps," from the iTunes App Store. The Internet radio site Pandora offers one such app which allows you to play "radio stations" based on your personal tastes.
