The A1051 is actually the model number for the first generation iPod mini. The iPod mini is the smaller, more compact version of the classic iPod MP3 player. And like its larger predecessor, it needs a battery to operate. If you need to replace a faulty battery in your iPod mini, you will need to disassemble the unit. The good news is that you don't need to pay a tech to do it for you, as the process is pretty straightforward.
