Unlock a Screen Lock on an Apple iPod Nano - Connect the provided USB cord into both the iPod nano and the computer to which you sync the iPod.

Open the "iTunes" application. A message on iTunes will warn you to not disconnect your iPod for a few moments.
Disconnect the iPod from the USB cable when the message reads, "OK to disconnect." The screen is now unlocked.

Click the "Play" button on the iPod wheel to turn the screen on. A padlock will appear with four zeros underneath, with the first zero highlighted.

Scroll the Click Wheel up or down to select a number. Press the center button on the Click Wheel to enter the number and move on to the second number; do this until you have entered all four numbers of your combination code. The numbers much match the lock code you used to lock the screen.
